A tutorial you might find useful: Modern Plinths

There’s no doubt that plinths are on trend, but blindly following trends is still not trendy in my books.

So how do we adapt a trend and make it our own? We change it up! Challenge ourselves, push the creativity, and inject a bit of our own story into each design we make. 

TUTORIAL: Modern Plinths

The industrial vibes of these plinths really make sense in my warehouse studio and the metal grid looks cohesive with the concrete backdrop while also being a great mechanic for weaving long flower stems to support them.

Consider your space, whether it's outdoors, a rustic garden shed or even your garage - what would make sense to use as a support for differing heights. Tree stumps? Wooden stools? Milk crates? Fill some low vessels with flower frogs and chicken wire and then pick out some flowers for their unique colours, fun shapes or dramatic stems and start getting creative! 

Don't forget about negative space and pulling out stems that you really want the viewer to notice!
