“Painting en plein air allowed artists to capture the emotional and sensory dimensions of a particular landscape at a particular moment in time. It thus expressed a new spirit of spontaneity and truth to personal impulse within art”

In this Workshop you will:

-1-

Design an abundant, wild and romantic Floral Nest

Guided by Ash from Film and Foliage, you will enjoy a demonstration of the tools, mechanics and techniques required to create a lush Foam-Free floral ceremony including aisle meadows and an impactful ground arbour.

-2-

Learn how to apply new techniques and get your hands dirty

Each attendee will have the opportunity to join in and apply their newfound floral knowledge, creating with blooms with feedback and guidance from Ash. This is an opportunity to create with beautiful seasonal florals and get hands-on experience.

-3-

Ask questions and gain valuable industry insight

Throughout the workshop and afterwards over wine and cheese you'll have opportunities to ask questions and access valuable floral insights as well as network and connect with your fellow floral community.

Together we will discuss alternative structures, tools, mechanics, ingredients and water sources to assemble and execute a lush floral installation featuring seasonal blooms and zero floral foam.

Professional photographs will be taken throughout the day which you will be gifted to use throughout your portfolio, website and social media.

After flowering, we will enjoy wine and cheese in the courtyard together where you can ask questions, share experiences and connect with your fellow florists.

All floral tools and supplies will be included as well as a surprise gift for you.

You will walk away with your head full of new knowledge and your brains buzzing with confidence. Secure in the knowledge of planning and creating sustainable installations that are impactful and profitable as well as the information to educate and inspire your clients and those around you.

Hey, Flower Lover!

I’m Ash, the owner and head designer of Film and Foliage.
I live and breathe floral design.

I want to share the knowledge and techniques I have gained over years of working in the floral design industry and I know how valuable live workshops can be for us creatives to actually get our hands on the blooms and feel the way they go together.

I also love a good catch-up with my flower friends, making connections, sharing stories and learning different perspectives!

Join me for a beautiful day in the vines, creating magic with lush, seasonal florals and engaging in insightful conversation while we sip wine in the dappled grounds of Krinklewood Estate.

I'll see you there!

Here's What Others Are Saying...

Annie

Ash is such a genuine person; truly says what she means, incredibly generous with her knowledge and really cares about inspiring floral designers for a sustainable future! I feel super lucky that I got to learn from her in person recently- was an absolutely joyous time!!! She shared her design techniques, love for locally grown flowers and business know-how. So much gratitude to meet someone who really cares about sharing their knowledge and life experiences with the floral community. 10/10 would recommend her online courses and in- person teachings. Would give more stars if I could!!!

Suze
